the room was a joke wash basin to high, the bathroom door would not close,when the toilet was flushed you thought a 747 was passing over ,shower rubbish ,carpet should have been in a skip,milk was off

The staff and owners were very poliet the beds were exceeding comfortable the bedlinen and towels were of good quality.
Dislikes:
Breakfast a little more choice ie yoghurt or and some friut. the cooked breakfast a little bit fatty.

The staff were pleasant but a certain amount of customer care was lacking.The room was spacious but dated. The double glazing could be improved as the traffic passing along the road was noisy. The double duvet was too small. The sheets were worn and had holes in.The car park size was inadequate so we had to park on street. As the hotel was within a Controlled Parking Zone, hotel and guest vouchers should have been offered.The breakfast was basic and not particularly tasty. Read less

Dislikes:
See describe your stay. The hotel is in need of a serious upgrade to bring it up to modern day standards. Ifelt it was poor value for money

Pleasant welcome, good breakfast, comfortable bed, clean and well appointed ensuite bathroom.
Dislikes:
Decor in room very tired, curtains falling off their track, dirt on bed base, mirror light in bathroom not working, over-stuffed pillows.

There seemed to be no onerall management. I had to wait 15 minutes at reception before anyone came to check us out. The bell on the counter appeared to not work.
