Previous reviews made me doubt this hotel but they all proved to be unfounded and unfair. We went to Worthing to compete in the bowls so needed a good night's rest and good food which was what we got.... Read more

We went to Worthing to compete in the bowls so needed a good night's rest and good food which was what we got. Friendly welcoming staff, keen to please and excellent facilities, including iron and hairdryer in every room. My bed was actually more comfortable than at home! Read less

We had everything we needed and yet the cost was extremely reasonable. Good spacious rooms in a very quiet vicinity. Excellent breakfast. I cannot fault this hotel's value for money.
Dislikes:
I think the decoration needs renewing - just to make it all perfect. The current decor gives an impression of shabbiness but the service is still excellent

I was visiting friend and relatives in the area and needed a cheap place to stay as I wouldn't really be hanging out there much. My expectations were low going in and I wasn't disappointed. There is (very limited) free parking at the hotel, you would be better off parking on the street. No shower in my room, only a bath. Carpet in room needed vacuuming. Poor cooked breakfast, should be done away with, continental offered instead (fruit, yogurt, breads, tea & coffee). Read less

Location is very good. Lovely old building. Some of the period features ie banister, coving were nice to see.
The room was clean and the bed comortable.
Dislikes:
Could do with a bit of money spent on the place. could do with a lick of paint and a general tart up.

Over priced, checked out immediately next day (if hadnt arrived late at night with a baby we would not had stayed at all) Have stayed in better hostels travelling round europe, (but that wouldnt take much) Read less

Its position on the sea front, friendly and helpful staff, nice bed linen and duvets,reasonable price for Worthing seafront.
Dislikes:
Room (non smoking) smelt strongly of cigarette smoke which lingered despite having window permanently open.

The curtains were hanging off the rail and were well past their best, in drawing them I was concerned that they would disintigrate. The carpet was filthy. The decoration peeling. The ensuite was not comfortably clean and had seen better times. Read less
